Older-model gas appliances
If you have an older-model natural gas dryer or range, make sure that its connection to the fuel pipe is coated with plastic, giving it a shiny look. Some older-model corrugated brass connectors may corrode, increasing the chance of a gas leak. If your natural gas range or dryer is 10 years old, and you suspect you have this type of connector, call your appliance service dealer. Or contact Puget Sound Energy for assistance.
