Hydroelectric power
Low-cost hydropower accounts for one-half of our current power portfolio. We own and operate three hydropower projects: Baker River, Snoqualmie Falls and Electron -- all in Western Washington. We also buy a substantial amount of hydroelectric power, much of it from Central Washington public utility districts with large Columbia River dams.
