Avoid construction delays

It's the customer's responsibility to ensure the following:

  • Backfill (sand) is available and adequate
  • Work site is properly prepared and cleared
  • Electric panel or natural gas line has been inspected

Site Preparation - Customer Requirements, Joint Trench Electric and Gas Service

The builder/owner/customer is responsible to prepare the job site prior to underground electric and natural gas service installation by the utility crew. Important items include trench depth and width; conduit type and diameter; clearances between utilities; proper back-fill material and more.
