Conservation & Efficiency: ITSCOOL Service-learning Fundraiser

ITSCOOL (Innovative Tactics for Sea Level and Climate Change Outreach and Opportunity Leaders) is the first service-learning fundraiser for tackling energy efficiency in Western Washington – made possible by Puget Sound Energy – and an opportunity designed to make a positive difference for both youth and the Earth.

An ITSCOOL campaign offers these benefits:

• High Profit: ITSCOOL allows you to keep up to 63% of the money you raise (or 50% if you offer the ITSCOOL prize package) – helping you to meet your fundraising goals faster.
  
  
• Win-Win: Our Spring product, energy-saving Compact Fluorscent Lightbulbs, sell for $4 and help customers save money on their energy bills – a true win-win! A classroom of 25 students selling 20 bulbs apiece will earn between $2,000 - $2,520.
  
  
• Easy: With the handy ITSCOOL Kit, teachers just prepare the ITSCOOL sales and education cover sheet for their class, and the bulb shipment will arrive with orders divided per class!
  
  
• Educational: Our climate change service-learning curriculum, also in the ITSCOOL Kit, is designed to meet or support Washinton State EALRs for Science, Social Studies, Communication, and Mathematics, and is simple to run through with your group.
  
  
• Ecological: Our planet benefits in many ways from ITSCOOL – from reducing carbon emissions through spreading energy saving technologies, to developing a generation of environmental leaders who understand how to care for the Earth.
