Hopkins Ridge Wind Facility


The Hopkins Ridge Wind Facility is located in Eastern Washington, 15 miles northeast of Dayton in Columbia County; 285 miles southeast of Seattle. This facility is Puget Sound Energy's first wind farm. Construction began in March 2005, and the facility began generating electricity in November 2005.

The wind farm is home to 87 turbines capable of generating more than 156 megawatts of electricity. Read more about the facility in our Energy Supply pages.
