Puget Sound Energy has served the electric and natural gas needs of customers on Vashon Island for more than 70 years. Today, PSE serves more than 6,400 electric and more than 1,400 natural gas customers on the island.
In addition to providing safe and reliable service, PSE supports a variety of Vashon community programs and offers incentives to make homes and businesses more energy efficient.
Nearly 250 residents have participated in PSE’s ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate Program, thereby preventing the release of nearly 55,000 pounds of carbon dioxide. And 414 residential and 14 commercial customers participate in PSE’s Green Power Program, which encourages the development of clean, renewable resources.
Vashon residents participate in PSE’s Green Power Program almost four times more often than the average PSE customer, and our Vashon commercial customers participate almost twice as often.
From our remodeled Vashon Island Customer Service Office, we look forward to serving customers on Vashon Island for years to come.
