South Whidbey Customer Service Office
In October 2008, PSE opened its second Customer Service Office on Whidbey Island. Located in Freeland, in the former bakery building on Main Street, the office is designed to promote energy efficiency on top of traditional customer service and bill payment capabilities.
South Whidbey Customer Service Office
PSE’s South Whidbey Customer Service Office is managed by Whidbey resident and former Langley city administrator, Walt Blackford. In addition to Blackford, the office also has a full-time customer service representative and rotating regional staff that focus on energy efficiency and community relations.
PSE’s South Whidbey office incorporates energy efficiency upgrades, including lighting, recycled carpeting, and some recycled timbers. Complementing PSE’s other Whidbey Island office, which has been operating in Oak Harbor since 1989, the South Whidbey office is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is also a drop box for customers to pay their energy bills after hours.
