Chronology – Year 2004
Policy Team formed to complete settlement agreement
In early 2004, at the final stages of the settlement agreement, a group of high-level participants stepped in to work on reaching consensus on the remaining issues. The Policy Team was tasked with reviewing a settlement agreement and making tradeoffs between proposed measures as needed. This group has met primarily without PSE and is in the process of formulating an offer of settlement.
Continued work on Settlement Agreement
The Legal Working Group, representing the various stakeholders, held numerous meetings earlier this year and continue to schedule meetings to finalize language for the settlement agreement. In addition, the attorneys have been reviewing language for PME measures and proposed license articles. The attorneys intend to continue to meet through June 2004.
License Application filed
PSE filed the Baker License Application and Preliminary Draft Environmental Assessment with FERC on April 30, while the policy team continued its work in hopes of reaching a final settlement within the next few months. Once complete, the final settlement agreement will be signed by all involved parties, and sent to FERC to accompany the application and PDEA
