Relicensing Goals

Throughout our relicensing effort, Puget Sound Energy is committed to:

• Consider all opinions and comments during the decision-making process.
• Prepare an application that is technically sound and provides a reasonable balance of power and environmental values such as fish, wildlife, and recreation.
• Consider the impact of relicensing on the Project's ability to provide low-cost power.
• Investigate ways to maximize the efficient and economic use of available hydrologic resources for power generation.
• Emphasize compatibility with federal and state resource goals.
• Promote collaboration among all interested parties.
• Adhere to FERC regulations and timelines.
• Seek settlement agreements, whenever possible, with interested parties.
