1. These figures reflect the power PSE contracted to provide in 2012 and anticipated changes to the portfolio in 2013. Actual figures may vary according to resource availability. We will annually report to you the actual resource mix of the electricity you purchased during the preceding year.
2. New Renewables come from generation facilities that first began commercial operation on or after January 1, 1997.
For comparison, the current average mix of resources supplying Puget Sound Energy includes: Large Hydroelectric (50%), Coal (32%), Natural Gas (16%), Nuclear (1%), and other (1%) based on 2011 fuel mix reported to the State of Washington Office of Trade and Economic Development.
The average PSE home uses 1000 kWh per month.
