Single-Family New Construction Program Alerts

Puget Sound Area Builder Partners
Thank you for your continued commitment to energy efficiency in our region.

As we prepare for 2013, and in recognition of adjustments to market conditions, Puget Sound Energy’s Single-Family New Construction energy efficiency team is pleased to announce that the majority of PSE's single-family new construction incentives will be continuing in 2013. There will be a few changes next year to our program offerings, some new incentives and making adjustments to several existing incentives. Effective Tuesday, January 1, 2013, the following changes to PSE’s offerings will go into effect.  The efficiency measures listed below must be installed on or after January 1, 2013, to be eligible for the program incentives.

New Measure
  • ENERGY STAR® LED fixtures now be included as part of the ALP 80 lighting incentive
Deactivated Measures                                                                                   Rebate
  • ENERGY STAR Natural Gas Furnace (95% AFUE +)                  $250
  • ENERGY STAR Home Bonus (Natural Gas)                                 $350

Note: Incentives and measures may change during the year; always refer to our website for the latest offerings. All rebates are tariffed services and are subject to change or termination without prior notice.

PSE will not be able to honor any claims for any discontinued measures after December 31, 2012. If you have incentive claims for either of the above incentives, please submit them to PSE no later than December 21, 2012. If you are an ENERGY STAR Homes builder, please check in with your verifier to ensure your homes are entered into the ENERGY STAR database by December 21, 2012.
If you have any questions regarding these changes, please contact Kevin Peterson at 425- 456-2414 or send an email to BuilderRebates@pse.com. We look forward to working with all of you and continuing to reward your efforts of installing ENERGY STAR products and appliances.
