Frequently Asked Questions

I've been contacted by a PSE employee regarding my firm's services. What process can I expect in order to become a qualified supplier?

Suppliers should prepare for online registration which will include  the following information:

  • Previous PSE experience with the supplier
  • Evaluation of the product
  • Field tests of the product
  • Recommendations by various PSE departments
  • Supplier's business
  • Financial position
  • Liability insurance coverage
  • References
  • Equipment
  • Resumes of key personnel
  • Safety records
  • Quality Assurance Program
  • Geographical proximity to the project

Initial contact with PSE will be through the Purchasing Department or the Contract Administration department or a Browz, LLC representative (PSE’s partner for managing supplier qualifications) so that PSE can maintain a complete and centrally located file of this information.

I've received a construction or service contract. Are any special qualifications required before I can proceed with work?

PSE may reserve the right to require any supplier receiving a construction or service contract to meet special qualifications, such as:

  • Complete supplier registration through Browz, LLC
  • License to perform the specified work
  • Bondability
  • Liability insurance coverage that complies with our mandated requirements
  • Compliance with any federal, state or local regulations applicable to the work
  • Compliance with all codes and specified industry standards
