I've been contacted by a PSE employee regarding my firm's services. What process can I expect in order to become a qualified supplier?
Suppliers should prepare for online registration which will include the following information:
- Previous PSE experience with the supplier
- Evaluation of the product
- Field tests of the product
- Recommendations by various PSE departments
- Supplier's business
- Financial position
- Liability insurance coverage
- References
- Equipment
- Resumes of key personnel
- Safety records
- Quality Assurance Program
- Geographical proximity to the project
Initial contact with PSE will be through the Purchasing Department or the Contract Administration department or a Browz, LLC representative (PSE’s partner for managing supplier qualifications) so that PSE can maintain a complete and centrally located file of this information.
I've received a construction or service contract. Are any special qualifications required before I can proceed with work?
PSE may reserve the right to require any supplier receiving a construction or service contract to meet special qualifications, such as:
- Complete supplier registration through Browz, LLC
- License to perform the specified work
- Bondability
- Liability insurance coverage that complies with our mandated requirements
- Compliance with any federal, state or local regulations applicable to the work
- Compliance with all codes and specified industry standards
