Alter existing service

Natural gas service and meter changes due to remodel

 An Altered Service Application 500G is required if you are:

  • remodeling and need the natural gas meter and underground service pipe increased in size due to added gas usage (tankless water heater, stand-by generator)
  • need the service re-routed and meter placed in a different location
In addition to the application, a Customer Service Information Sheet is required for each project submittal to provide PSE with project ownership details.

Please contact one of our Customer Construction Services Representatives (1-888-321-7779) to guide you through the steps to alter or modify an existing electric and natural gas service and meter. A representative will answer your questions, discuss project requirements and send you the appropriate altered service application.

If you prefer to initiate your request to alter an existing gas or electric service due to remodeling online, please complete and submit the appropriate altered service application as described above. One of our representatives will contact you after the applications have been reviewed to continue the ordering process.
