Customer Service Guarantee

Puget Sound Energy's pledge to you is simple:


  • We will connect new permanent service lines and meters when mutually agreed.
  • We will reestablish gas and electric service when mutually agreed.
  • We will keep gas equipment service appointments when mutually agreed.
  • If we fail to keep these commitments, we will credit your account $50.

Note: This guarantee applies in the absence of major storms, earthquakes, supply interruptions, or other adverse events beyond our control. In these cases, we will reschedule service appointments as quickly as possible.

Measuring Our Service Quality

Every year PSE sets goals for improving the quality of service we deliver to our customers. These Performance Report Cards reflect our success measured in areas such as customer satisfaction, appointment scheduling and response times, Customer Access Center, field services and more.

Measuring our energy efficiency performance

The WUTC (Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission) closely monitors the energy savings goals and associated costs for PSE's energy efficiency programs. Our Energy Efficiency performance results for 2004-2005 exceeded all energy savings goals within the required time frame and did so under budget.
