Reporting an outage and restoring power
Puget Sound Energy's (PSE's) number one priority is safety for our customers and employees. We continuously monitor weather reports and forecasts to prepare for possible weather related power outages. It's important to let PSE know when you experience a power outage. Our restoration process depends on notification from customers to track and respond to outages.

Immediate reporting using the automated phone system
Using our automated telephone system is the most efficient way to report an outage and get power restoration updates. When you call 1-888-225-5773, select Option #1 to report an outage. Listen to the prompts for instructions on how to automatically report your outage information which will be immediately relayed to our control center.
PSE will regularly update recordings on the phone system describing the nature of current outages and broad restoration information so that you can make appropriate plans for your safety and comfort.
Talking to Our Customer Services Center
Our staff is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to report an outage and other emergencies. During a large storm or other emergency we increase service center staff. Even so, wait times may increase making the automated telephone system a more efficient use of your time.
