Reporting an outage and restoring power
Puget Sound Energy's number one priority is safety for our customers and employees. We continuously monitor weather reports and forecasts to prepare for possible weather-related power outages. It's important to let PSE know when you experience a power outage. Our restoration process depends on notification from customers to track and respond to outages.

Call 1-888-225-5773 (select menu option #1)
Online through your My PSE Account on PSE.com (click on the “Report Outages” tab)
Immediate reporting using the automated phone system and online outage
reporting tool
Using our automated telephone system or online outage reporting tool are efficient ways to report an outage and get power restoration updates. By phone, when you call 1-888-225-5773, select option #1 to report an outage. Listen to the prompts for instructions on how to automatically report your outage information which will be immediately relayed to our control center.
Going online, login to your My PSE Account on PSE.com and go to the “Report Outages” tab to follow the prompts for reporting your outage and accessing updates about restoration efforts.
PSE will regularly update phone messages and online information with details about power restoration efforts and current outages so that you can make appropriate plans for your safety and comfort.
Talking to Our Customer Services Center
Our staff is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day to take your report about an outage and other emergencies. During a large storm or other emergency we increase service center staffing. Even so, the possibility of extended wait times to speak directly with an agent may increase making the automated telephone system or the online outage reporting tool a more efficient use of your time.
