Electric tariff filings

Listed below are Puget Sound Energy's regulatory applications/filings currently in review with the UTC. Prior to any changes in our rates and tariffs, we must obtain regulatory approval.

3/29/2024 5/1/2024 The purpose of this tariff filing is to propose new rates, as approved annually under the rate adjustment mechanism previously approved by the UTC. Electric Schedule 142 decouples the company’s revenues recovered from applicable customers that are intended to recover delivery and production costs, from the sales of electricity. This filing proposes an overall decrease in electric rates of 0.34 percent.

3/26/2024 5/1/2024 The purpose of this filing is to establish a new tariff schedule, which will allow PSE to recover the costs of the Washington Participatory Grants Funding Agreement as provided for in RCW 80.28.430(3).

3/25/2024 5/1/2024 The purpose of this filing is to implement changes to rates under the established Property Tax Tracker. Schedule 140 includes a mechanism for adjusting rates annually, both up and down; to pass through the costs of property taxes consistent with the amounts PSE pays.

3/22/2024 5/1/2024 The purpose of this tariff filing is to increase the Annual Cap for total benefits available to customers for remainder of the 2023-2024 Low Income Program Year. The benefits under Schedule 129 are available to PSE customers meeting the criteria described within that Schedule and pay for any charges on their bills.

4/8/2024 5/10/2024 The purpose of this filing is to revise the Special Term and Conditions section of Schedule 111, clarifying that the amount of the non-volumetric monthly State Carbon Reduction Credit shall not exceed a customer’s total monthly State Carbon Reduction Charge amount billed for Schedules 16, 23, 31, and 31T beginning July 1, 2024.

Natural Gas Schedule 142 decouples the company’s revenues recovered from applicable customers that are intended to recover delivery costs, from the sale and transportation of natural gas. This filing proposes an overall increase in natural gas rates of 2.74 percent.

7/01/2023 The purpose of this required tariff filing is to establish a new tariff schedule, Schedule 141LNG – Liquefied Natural Gas Rate Adjustment, which will allow PSE to recover the capital costs related to the Tacoma LNG Facility through a new tariff schedule, in compliance with the requirement in the Commission’s Order. Rates under this tariff schedule are proposed to begin on November 1, 2023.
