Crews out in full force responding to early fall storm.

Crews continue to restore power to customers impacted by Friday's unseasonably strong storm, including in the Yelm and Rainier areas where the majority of outages remain.

We know how hard it is to be without power and we appreciate our customers' patience as crews make repairs and restore power.

Safety first:

  • Never touch or go within 35 feet of downed power lines because they might be energized.
  • Call PSE at 1-888-225-5773 or 911 to report problems.
  • Use flashlights instead of candles.  
  • Never operate a generator indoors or in enclosed spaces.  
  • Be aware of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning: Never install or use a generator indoors or in enclosed or partially enclosed areas, even those that are ventilated.

Existing customers will continue to receive all the benefits of the program and can manage their participation.

Solar Choice matches all or a portion of your electricity use with clean energy from independent solar facilities. Customers enrolled in the program purchase solar energy from independent resources and enjoy the benefits of solar with no equipment or installation required.

Participation helps fund grants for solar projects at local community organizations.
