Talbot-PACCAR transmission line upgrade

Project overview

To improve electric service reliability for our customers in Renton, PSE has rebuilt the existing 1.5-mile transmission line between the Talbot Hill and PACCAR substations with higher-capacity wire. We also installed new utility poles and replaced other aging infrastructure.

Together, these system improvements increased the capacity of the local electric system and will ensure continued, reliable electric service for area customers well into the future.
