Earn incentives for industrial capital improvements

Our Industrial Custom Capital Grants program offers incentives for energy-efficient upgrades in industrial facilities. If you’re planning a capital project for your industrial site that demonstrates energy savings and is cost-effective, PSE may be able to help pay for it with a custom capital grant.

Common measures incentivized through this program include compressed air and vacuum systems; industrial refrigeration systems; VFD; dust-collection systems; controls; process heating and cooling systems; pumping systems; and manufacturing process improvement.

What you get

The Industrial Custom Capital Grants program pays electric and gas incentives, which can cover up to 70% of the total cost of equipment and installation. Incentives are for qualifying upgrades only, and current rates are listed below.

 $8 per therm saved

 Up to 70% of eligible project costs

There are also incentives available to pay and support operation and maintenance implementation opportunities within your facilities with a custom O&M grant. This program can support your O&M projects which may require internal and/or external labor and materials. Some typical O&M projects include:

• Compressed air leak detection and repair
• Air compressor system optimization
• Refrigeration system optimization
• Dust collection system optimization
• HVAC system optimization

 Up to 100% of eligible project costs

How you apply

To get pre-approved for a custom capital grant:

• Complete the online custom retrofit grant application. If you need assistance completing the application, please contact us at industrialem@pse.com.
• Please include any additional information that would help evaluate the project. This may include a project cost proposal, drawings, trend data and proposed equipment cut sheets. These documents can be uploaded into the online application form from the Supporting Documents section.
