Preparedness and safety tips
  • Make sure your PSE account contact information is up to date.
  • Have a plan, build a kit and learn more about what to expect during a Public Safety Power Shutoff.
  • If you have a medical device that relies on power, enroll in Life Support status.
  • Stay at least 35 feet (the length of a school bus) away from any wire on the ground.
  • If you suspect that there may be a natural gas leak, don’t hesitate – leave the area then call 911 and PSE.
