High performance homes incentives

You can receive PSE incentives when you build a home that’s more efficient than state code.

How to qualify

To be eligible for our high performance homes incentives:

  • Projects must have three or fewer attached units. Exceptions may apply for townhome projects - please contact program to inquire
  • Projects must be within our electric and/or natural gas service territory
  • Project must use a PSE fuel for space and water heating
  • Projects must be in the design or construction phase
How to apply

To be eligible for our high performance homes incentives:

  1. Work directly with one of the certified home raters. They will model your home to determine its energy savings above the Washington State Energy Code. Please note that there is a cost associated with having your home modeled, and that these costs may vary by rater. Contact a home rater from the list below for more details.
  2. Once the home has been evaluated by the rater, and energy savings above code have been calculated, submit the incentive application to hphomes@pse.com. Please also submit a current W-9 for the person who should receive the incentive check (as indicated on the incentive application). PSE will review the application, and once approved, send the incentive check to the person indicated on the incentive application.

If you have further questions, please contact us at hphomes@pse.com.
