How it works
Weatherization program
- Review the income guidelines, and contact an Energy Advisor (EA) to discuss Efficiency Boost eligibility. The EA will guide you through next steps and can provide referrals to Recommended Energy Professionals (REPs), who are approved to deliver weatherization Efficiency Boost rebates.
- You must use a contractor who is a PSE Recommended Energy Professional (REP) or PSE Trade Ally to complete the installation. You may not use an out-of-network contractor or complete the work yourself.
- The PSE Recommended Energy Professional or Trade Ally will be able to determine if your home qualifies for PSE weatherization rebates after an on-site visit.
- Once you’ve selected a Recommended Energy Professional and they have confirmed your home’s eligibility, they will ask you to sign an income qualification form to confirm that you meet eligibility requirements prior to installation.
- After installation, the REP will submit your signed incentive application and income qualification form to PSE and provide you with an instant rebate. Incentives will be paid directly to the REP, who will deduct the incentive amount from your invoice, reducing your out-of-pocket cost. You are responsible for paying the balance of the invoice.
Note: You must use a REP or Trade Ally to receive weatherization rebates.
