Weatherization rebates
Save hundreds of dollars when you weatherize your home
Weatherization prevents the loss of warm or cool air through unseen leaks and seams. It’s an easy, cost-effective way to increase the comfort of your home while saving money and energy.
What you get
The total value of your weatherization rebate depends on how much insulation and sealing your home needs. In order to receive this rebate, you must use a contractor who is a PSE Recommended Energy Professional (REP) or another PSE Trade Ally. Your contractor will deduct the instant rebate amount from your invoice.

How you qualify
- You must use a contractor who is a PSE Recommended Energy Professional (REP) or PSE Trade Ally to complete the installation. You may not use an out-of-network contractor or complete the work yourself.
- Applicable rebates are determined and provided to the customer by the PSE-authorized contractor as an instant rebate at the point of sale. PSE does not pay weatherization rebates directly to the customer.
You must be a current PSE residential electric or PSE natural gas customer and use PSE electricity or PSE natural gas as the primary source of your home's space heating.
- You must live in a single-family home (four units or less).
- You must live in a home permitted or built prior to 1990 for site-built homes, with the exception of the duct sealing only incentive; the home must be permitted and built before 2001.
In addition to your PSE rebate, you may be eligible for a federal tax credit on qualifying energy efficient equipment. For updated details and to learn more click here.
