MultiPage Test

This voluntary pilot program uses smart technology to help meet Bainbridge Island’s growing energy needs and prevent undue stress on our electric system. Flex Smart+, previously known as Peak Energy Rewards, will also help us provide 100% carbon-free electricity by 2045.

You’ll receive $150 for enrolling before Dec. 31, 2023, and up to $115 for each year you stay enrolled. Plus, you can get higher energy-efficiency rebates, such as:

• Up to $8,400 on home heating equipment
• Up to $4.79 per sq. ft. on insulation
• Up to $2,000 on new windows
• Up to $1,650 on water heating equipment

How it works

Once you enroll, PSE will adjust your energy usage on especially cold days, or “flex events,” to smooth out demand, ensuring everyone has access to energy when they need it most.

Thermostat setpoint is temporarily lowered but you stay warm

Only customers living in Bainbridge Island who heat or cool their home with electricity as the primary fuel source and have an AMI meter installed qualify for enrollment.
