2023 SEMmy Award winners

Wildfire Mitigation Response Plan Hero

And the winner is…Planet Earth!

Our Commercial Strategic Energy Management (CSEM) program  is proud to recognize some of its most outstanding energy champions with SEMmy Awards.

CSEM energy champions are PSE business customers who join this multi-year program to learn the finer points of strategic energy management (SEM). They’re trained to use tools for tracking their energy usage and then taught how to interpret the data to make critical energy adjustments. They’re also coached in how changes to facility operations, maintenance and behavior can add up to large energy savings.

In the end, these businesses reduce their energy consumption, lower their carbon emissions and train their staff to prioritize energy efficiency.

While the businesses and individuals below took home SEMmy Awards in 2023, the real winner is our planet. CSEM, one of the country’s first utility-based programs dedicated to strategic energy management, thanks these customers for partnering with us to make their businesses more energy efficient.
