Advanced Rooftop Controls (ARC)
Managing your rooftop units more efficiently
PSE, Seattle City Light, Snohomish County PUD and Tacoma Power offer a $225 per ton rebate for electric and $50 per ton rebate for gas toward qualifying ARC installations.
An Advanced Rooftop Unit Control (ARC) is an energy-saving retrofit solution for constant volume, single-zone packaged rooftop equipment. These controls work with various rooftop unit (RTU) manufacturers, have the ability to control and monitor RTUs via the Internet, and can reduce utility expenses by more than 50 percent. PSE, Seattle City Light, Snohomish County PUD and Tacoma Power offer a $225 per ton rebate for electric and $50 per ton rebate for gas toward qualifying Advanced Rooftop Unit Controls (ARC), up to 70 percent of qualifying project cost.
Rebates apply to the installation of qualifying ARCs on existing single-zone packaged RTUs with constant speed supply fans, nominal cooling capacity of five tons or greater and to those 20 years old or less. For more details about the ARCs, please download our ARC fact sheet. For more information about qualifications, contact a PSE Energy Advisor or call 1-800-562-1482. Projects that do not meet requirements may be eligible for a custom incentive.
To apply for the program, please submit an electronic copy of the ARC Rebate Worksheet and required documentations to firstname.lastname@example.org. See page two of the worksheet for a pre-installation documentation checklist.
