As the region grows and energy needs increase, we're investing in infrastructure improvements that help deliver the safe and reliable energy customers count on every day.
Kitsap County is scheduled to receive approximately $97 million in electric system upgrades beginning in 2026 through 2029, spanning approximately 46 projects across reliability, resilience, capacity and grid modernization programs, in addition to ongoing system work to improve reliability. This work will help strengthen the system against wildfire and other extreme weather, and prepare the grid for future growth and emerging technologies.

Advancing cleaner energy
PSE is working to meet Washington's clean energy requirements while continuing to deliver reliable service to customers. Across Kitsap County, we're supporting innovative projects that help reduce emissions, expand transportation electrification and improve access to renewable energy.
Since 2017, PSE has provided nearly $1.5 million to increase equitable access to the benefits of solar in Kitsap County. Recipients include Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound Bremerton, Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe, Fishline and Salvation Army Bremerton.
Mobility for All (Bremerton) and the Suquamish Tribe were inaugural recipients of PSE’s Transportation Emission Reduction Grant Program in 2025, receiving nearly $925K in funding to support local, community-centered projects helping to reduce transportation-related emissions in Kitsap County.

Investing in communities
Since 2023, PSE and the PSE Foundation have provided more than $1 million in support across Kitsap County through community contributions, sponsorships and foundation grants. These investments help strengthen a wide range of organizations and initiatives focused on education and youth development, health and human services, housing and basic needs, environmental stewardship, arts and culture, economic opportunity, and community resilience, supporting residents and communities throughout the county.
We also regularly participate in community events throughout Kitsap County, offering customers opportunities to ask questions, learn about PSE programs and services and connect directly with our teams.
